Keen to give brides more control over their big-day style, Charlotte Mills has introduced several tantalising transitional designs available with a choice of gorgeous ankle straps. Ranging from simple, plain leather to glimmering pearl-embellished straps and luscious ribbon ankle ties, brides can easily switch up their look from one occasion to the next.

Commenting on the latest designs, Charlotte said: “For the new collection, we really wanted to build on our brides’ favourite styles, giving them a cool, glam and refined 2023 glow-up, whilst introducing exciting new design elements too. “Modern and classic silhouettes with differing details and heel heights sit alongside each other for a varied yet highly-considered collection that effortlessly ticks brides’ wish lists.”

TELL US HOW YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH THE BRIDAL INDUSTRY AND HOW THE BRAND HAS DEVELOPED OVER THE YEARS.

I started the company 9 years ago, launching with the first shoe collection, specialising in handcrafted, luxury block heels that are made with comfort in mind. Over the years the team has grown and we’ve expanded our offerings. We now offer trainers, clutch bags, jewellery and our hen party dress collection. Our hen party dresses have been so well received by our brides and we’re so excited to be expanding this range ready for next year!

WHAT SETS CHARLOTTE MILLS DESIGNS APART FROM OTHERS IN THE INDUSTRY?

We design every style with comfort in mind. We’re known for our versatile block heel designs, that all come complete with our signature details. A silver sixpence embedded into the in sock, for good luck and prosperity on the wedding day. And our embossed leather soles, all have the rhyme "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue and a Silver Sixpence in her shoe" Every aspect of this rhyme is covered in your shoe box and it’s something we know our brides absolutely love.

CAN YOU DESCRIBE WHAT THE CREATIVE PROCESS IS LIKE?

Designing the dresses has been such a new experience for us, it’s so different to designing shoes! We’ve love having more choices with fabrics and silhouettes. The most important factor for us, is comfort, we want our brides to feel confident and comfortable in our dresses, making sure they have the most magical time celebrating with their nearest and dearest.
